Hello, welcome to this weeks newsletter and Happy New Year to everyone.
I hope that everyone had a nice break, the course was busy over the festive period and is holding up very well.
The green staff were even hand mowing the greens yesterday which is fantastic for this time of year. We've not got much to tell you as we've mainly been eating and drinking too much. We've got a couple of demo dates already pencilled in for those wanting to look at new equipment, Callaway in March and Mizuno in April, both have some great new products and well worth a look at.
All that remains is to wish you all a happy and successful year on the golf course in 2017.

Sarah has had a good start to 2017 by receiving a great offer to work with the Women & Golf magazine. I have been asked to feature as a instructor in the magazine which involves an indoor photo shoot in London and coaching articles on specific parts of the game.
I'm feeling excited about the offer as it will be a great experience.

Have you ever seen a turkey/Christmas pudding playing golf?
When it comes to Christmas one of the first things that springs to mind is spending time with the family on Christmas day, enjoying a lovely turkey followed by christmas pudding.
You probably wouldn't imagine a combination of the two playing golf. Well here at Saffron Walden, that was exactly the case.
