Friday’s Free Swing Tip! Every golfer can always hole a few more putts on the course & I definitely hear a lot of people saying how they miss so many ‘little ones’ whilst out there! So here’s some simple advice on your putting setting up to improve your technique: - Set your feet shoulder width apart & parallel to your target line. - Let your arms relax down naturally from your shoulders & place the ball just forward of centre in your stance. - To make a centre strike out the clubface each time, make sure your eyes are directly over the ball. The double photo below shows me standing to close & too far away!

Always remember a good putting strokes needs to be repeatable! The single photo above with the red boarder shows the correct set up position. |

With the eyes of the golf world focused on the famous town on the eastern border of Georgia, where legends are made every year, Jordan will be wearing one of Under Armour’s most innovative technologies – Under Armour Vanish. The material, powered by the latest microthread technology that removes moisture almost instantly, allows Jordan to remain focused and visualize his next shot. Vanish is also soft and flexible, allowing seamless motion for any type of swing, in any condition – from the 30-foot birdie putt on 16 during his furious 2018 comeback, to the perfect flop shot on 18 to save par on the way to his legendary 2015 win.

Boa constrict your footwear |
There's been two major trends in the golf footwear market in recent years: the first is the surge in spikeless shoes, and the other is Boa. So, what actually is the Boa Fit System and is it anything to do with snakes? |
| FootJoy UltraFIT Boa golf shoe
|
|
No, it's nothing to do with snakes. Phew. Rather, the Boa Fit System has revolutionized footwear for the better and we absolutely love it. Instead of using traditional laces, Boa utilises a steel wire (virtually unbreakable) that is effortlessly tightened via an easy-to-use dial strategically placed on the shoe (seen above). To loosen, simply pull out the dial and open up at the tongue. |
With FootJoy's UltraFIT Boa, which is available in-store now, you will be guaranteed a comfortable fit every time safe in the knowledge that your laces will not come undone or get tangled throughout your round. If you haven’t already experienced Boa, then we implore you to come down to the store and try on this fantastic option today - no obligation. |
