Pleased To Be Out Playing Hope you all enjoyed the Easter festivities and have had your quota of chocolate for the year. Unfortunately post-Easter the temperature has rather plummeted and gone were the polo shirts of last week replaced with four extra layers and a bobble hat. Still, the course is busy and everyone seems to be pleased to be back out playing. You will see from Callum’s videos below we are back up and running with coaching and we’ve been busy getting people back into it. You will also see that Sarah is in demand this week and was asked to do a podcast on Women in golf, you can listen to it from the link below. Aaron is coming up to his final 10 days at the club and I know many of you would like to either make a donation or sign a card for him to acknowledge his efforts for the SWGC community over the past decade. We will have a collection box in the shop and a card, hopefully, the newsletter editor has removed his details from my mailing list so it will be a surprise for him. His last day is Sunday 18th April so you still have time to send your best wishes to him. That’s it for now, enjoy the Masters and let’s hope for a European winner, preferably one from Worksop. If you are going to bet on it try to find a better bookies than Ron Rushforth who proudly told me he was backing Rickie Fowler this week and believed he was due one. Hope you got good odds Ron as last time I checked he wasn’t invited!
